How Can I Get More Traffic to My Blog/Website?

I think this is the number one question of all first time bloggers/website owners. I know it was one of my top questions when I first entered the on line world back in 2005.

I will admit when I first launched my first website back in 2005 I spent not one but $200 on advertising just to get more traffic to my website, and I guess it was good for oh about a month (that’s how long the ad lasted) but it didn’t create the big numbers, steady traffic I was expecting.

So after several websites, a lot of mistakes, and a lot of money later, I have really truly figured out the best way to get traffic to your website.

The best way you can generate traffic to your blog/website - Content! Yep, good old fashioned content. The more words you have on your website/blog the more traffic you shall get.

Now, you will want to be sure to add content that is relevant to your website, for example don’t post dog articles on a website that is about cats. Also be sure to add keywords to your article, this will definitely help boost your traffic from the search engines.

So there you have it, my #1 way to get more traffic to your blog. Now I know some of us (including me) have more than one website/blog and you maybe wondering how to get content to your website/blog, and I do have a few tips for that as well.

Option #1: You can write articles - now I know that may be time consuming, but adding original content to your website is the best.

Option #2: If the thought of starting an article from scratch sound intimidating, then I highly recommend using PLR articles - which means Private Label Rights - which also means you can change/edit the article to your liking AND (here’s the best part) you can post the article on your website/blog without having to place an author bio which could actually lead people away from your blog because most authors want to include links within their bios. PLR articles are truly the next best thing if you have serious writer’s block.

Option #3: Hire a Ghost Writer. This is yet another option in which could help you get some articles on that lonely little blog/website of yours.

Well I hope my tip has motivated you all to get out there and write! Here’s to YOUR success!
